Ion Chromatography (IC)

(IC) Ion chromatography is one of new HPLC method to detect ionic content. When the liquid (with ions dissolved) is pumped into a separation column, attributed to the different exchange rates between the ions and the column, different ions will be separated and be detected by a conductivity detector. IC can be used to analyze regular anions, cations and organic acid or base.

IC Technical Capabilities

  • Signal Detected: Ions
  • Elements Detected:  anions (F-、Cl-、Br-、NO2-、NO3-SO42-、PO43-)
  •                    Cations (Li+、Na+NH4+、K+、Mg2+Ca2+)
  • Detection Limits: ug/Lmg/L uppermost: 10-12g/L
